Christmas

Our Christmas week started off to a rocky start this year...we had to have a hose of some sort replaced on our vehicle and the dishwasher quit working. If that doesn't sound bad enough...the hose and the dishwasher broke on the same day!!! Because things have to work in three's it was only fitting that Clayton become sick and have some ear troubles to top things off. So needless to say, Josh spent some time taking out the broken dishwasher and installing the new one. That sounds easy too, right? Not so much. The first "new" dishwasher he installed on the 23rd of December was going to be great but one little hitch...we could not figure out how to work it. How hard can it really be to work a dishwasher? We punched buttons, read the instruction book, closed the door on the dishwasher and all we would get were flashing lights. So...on Christmas Eve morning, Josh takes out the "new" dishwasher that he installed the night before and takes it back to Lowe's because we cannot get it to work, buys a new one, and comes home and installs it. This one worked perfectly. Not exactly what you have planned for Christmas Eve day at home with the family but it had to be done. If you need help installing a dishwasher I know a great dishwasher installation expert :)

After we got past the dishwasher fiasco, we had a family afternoon of opening gifts...just the 3 of us. We then went to the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at our church. After the Candlelight Service we had supper with the Hurts and opened gifts. Clayton had fun playing in all of the paper.

Christmas Day began with a look at all of the gifts Santa brought for our precious boy because he has been so good this year. After that, we headed up to Etta for Christmas morning breakfast with the Claytons and gifts. We had Christmas lunch with the Coffeys at my Grandmother's house and opened gifts there too. Clayton loved all of his gifts and the wrapping paper too.

Here's some pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day festivities....
