Beach Vacation

We took our first family vacation to the beach and boy did we have a wake-up call...no more leisurely waking up and making our way down to the beach to stay as long as we liked and only being responsible for getting yourself ready. It was a fire drill every morning trying to get us ready and get our sunscreen caked on AND getting a 10 month old ready, put sunscreen on him, and get his bottles, etc ready to go to the beach....not to mention a 20 lb. 10th month old in tow along with all of the normal beach bags and stuff to take to the beach. BUT...we wouldn't have had it any other way!!! We had a blast with Clayton at the beach. It was so much fun to get to see him learn and explore what the sand was like, discover that he really does like the swimming pool and hates the ocean. We had fun being there with the Hurt Grands, Uncle Will, Great-Uncle Richard & Great-Aunt Mona, Great-Aunt Stella, and cousin Camille. We look forward to many more vacations at the beach with our little family.
